1938 Oct

The founder, Katsumori Kurita, established Special Electric Works. Began manufacturing and selling small-size motors.

1943 Apr

Changed the company name to Kurita Electric Works. Began manufacturing low speed motors and high-frequency motors.

1947 Apr

Established Kurita Electric Works, Co., Ltd. The capital was 195,000 yen.

1948 Sep

The capital increased to one million yen.

1949 Jan

Development of Air blower for laege broadcasting equipment. Successfully delivered to NHK..

1950 Jan

After Korean war occurred, the demand increased for Fans and the company changed direction for production of ventilation fan and electric blowers.

1953 Sep

The capital increased to 4 million yen . Expanded equipment as a specialized maker of ventillation fan, and  successfully developed various fans.

1958 Oct

Celebrating the 20th anniversary of our of our founding.

1961 Aug

The capital increased to 20 million yen.

1961 Nov

Acquired 10,340 square meters of factory site in Kitamoto-city, Saitama.

1962 Jul

Completed the first stage of Saitama factory construction. Operation started.

1962 Oct

The capital increased to 40 million yen.

1963 Aug

The capital increased to 54 million yen.

1965 Apr

Completed the second stage of Saitama factory expansion. Started manufacture of standard fans and roof fans.

1965 Sep

The capital increased to 74 million yen.

1968 Oct

Celebrating the 30th anniversary of our founding..

1970 Mar

Completed the third stage of Saitama factory expansion.

1970 Dec

Opened Osaka sales office.

1975 Aug

Katsumori Kurita became Chairman, and Hiroyuki Kurita assumed the post of President.

1975 Sep

The capital increased to 100 million yen.

1978 Mar

Transferred the Tokyo factory facilities to Saitama factory.

1978 Oct

Celebrating the 40 th anniversary of our founding.

1983 Jan

Started fourth stage of Saitama factory facilities rationalization for introduction of NC.

1983 Oct

At the 45 th anniversary, launched five-year plan.

1984 Oct

Set up New Kurita project and started small group TQC activity.

1985 Apr

Introduced the improvement cases workshop.

1987 Jul

To re-form employee consciousness, split the company and fulfill the management by product.

1988 Jul

Started fifth stage of Saitama factory facilities rationalization to achieve in-lining of processes.

1988 Oct

At 50 th anniversary, launched three-year plan.

1989 Apr

Implemented online reai-time processing of company information.

1989 May

Introduced CNC turret punch press for fans.

1989 Oct

Joined the N.P.S model factory tour. Introduced N.P.S to our production line.

1990 Jun

Installed CNC machining center.

1992 Des

By the merger of affiliated four companies, unify the production control for rationalization.

1993 Nov

Hideharu Kurita assumed the post of President.

1994 Aug

Hideharu Kurita became the Chairman, and Minoru Kawamura assumed the post of President.

1994 Aug

Moved the head office from Akabane to Nihonbashi.

1996 Dec

All offices have been connected with online management system by PC network. The real-time processing of the business has become possible.

2001 Aug

Moved the head office back to Akabane, where the company had been founded. Hideo Asakawa assumed the post of President, and Yoshiaki Kurita assumed the post of Vice-president.

2004 Jul

Opened Tokyo branch in Ginza, Chuo-ku, Tokyo. Hirofumi Sugata assumed the post of President.

2004 Sep

Unified Tokyo branch and moved Head office function to 2-3-27, Koraku, Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo.

2005 Aug

Kazuhiko Hayase, Director, assumed the post of Presidene.

2005 Sep

Moved head office function to 2-101, Arai, Kitamoto-city, Saitama.

2006 Oct

Moved Osaka branch to 5-1-1, Kishibenaka, Suita, Osaka.

2007 Jan

Received ISO14001:2004 cetification.

2007 Apr

Opened Fukuoka branch at 1-6-3, sanno, Hakata, Fukuoka.

2007 Aug

Authorized joining NPS associate member.

2008 Apr

Changed the company name to Teral Kurita Co., Ltd.

2009 Mar

Received ISO9001: 2008 certification.

2009 Apr

Opened Nagoya local office of Tokyo branch at Nagoya, Aichi.

2011 Jun

Koichi Asano, Managing director, assumed the post of President.

2011 Oct

Integrated each sales dept. In Tokyo, Nagoya, Osaka, and Fukuoka with Teral sales dept.

2013 Jun

Takayuki Sugata assumed the post of President.

2015 Apr

Yoshiaki Kurita assumed the post of President.

2017 Jun

Yoshio Watabe the post of President.

2018 Apr

Hidetoshi Fukushima the post of President.
